‘Belbourie’, the beautiful 1000-acre property on which Hideaway Domes is located, was bought by our family in 1978.
My parents Alfred “Alf” and Cheryl fell in love with the location, tranquillity, and lifestyle it would offer our family.
‘Belbourie’ remains in the family today, still owned by Alf, Ainsley (that’s me), my husband Mark and our 3 boys who live on and manage the property, alongside sheep, kangaroos, and wedge tail eagles. ‘Belbourie’ has long been treasured by our family as our home and agricultural business and over the years we have frequently shared our piece of Australian paradise with friends and family who have also relished in their experiences on the property.
Many of our friends and family have enjoyed camping with us over the years, soaking up the natural beauty, serenity, and rejuvenation that 'Belbourie' offers. And now our new farm stay, geodesic dome, provides visitors with all this and so much more with our next level, luxury glamping accommodation offering.
A few days at ‘Belbourie’ has always proved both cathartic and memorable for everyone who joined us. Now like-minded and environmentally savvy guests are invited to come and enjoy our piece of nirvana in the luxurious and comfortable surrounds of our stunning geodesic domes. Glamping has never looked, felt or been so good.

Hideaway Domes is located on ‘Belbourie’, a beautifully undulating 1000-acre property, only 15 minutes’ drive from Mudgee.
With walks to suit all fitness levels, vistas that showcase the beautiful countryside, sunrise and sunset and an ocean of stars at night our guests feel like they are reconnecting not only with themselves, but with nature. A local family of soaring wedge tailed eagles, kangaroos, echidnas and an abundance of other bird and wildlife provide guests with an appreciation of really having arrived in the country.
