No. We do not have WiFi services in the Dome.
There are various points on the Property where good phone coverage is received.

Yes, there is a minimum of a 2 night stay on standard weekends and a minimum of 3 nights on long weekends.

The cooler months are the ultimate time to experience the firepit at Hideaway Domes.

If in doubt, please contact us if you wish to discuss the availability of the fire pit before your arrival. We do not offer any reduction or refund if you are not able to use the firepit owing to local or national fire bans or unsuitable conditions.

From 1st December until the 1st March*, there is a total no fire ban across our region, as issued and enforced by the Rural Fire Service.
Outside of this period fire pit usage is usually allowed in suitable local daily conditions. Fire bans can be enforced at other times due to extreme weather conditions ie high winds, extreme heat etc. For the protection of yourselves, our Property, and surrounding farms we must always abide by the Rural Fire Service rules and recommendations.

*Sometimes fire ban periods are extended in the region owing to drought and other impacting weather conditions, please enquire if you have any doubts or concerns.

Drinking water will be provided in your Dome. We recommend the use of reusable drinking bottles to ensure minimum rubbish and to maintain our passion for an ecofriendly existence.

There are a number of small businesses in Mudgee that offer cheese board and local produce hampers which can be picked up by you or delivered to await your arrival, alternatively we recommend you pop into any of our local supermarkets (Woolworths, Coles or Aldi) and grab what you need to cook for yourself. We have a small bar fridge and outdoor BBQ for your use and convenience.

Yes. Each Dome has an instantaneous gas water heater in the bathroom, ensuring beautiful warm showers. We just ask that you minimise any water wastage.

Geodesic domes are naturally energy efficient. A wonderful glamping experience at Hideaway Domes is all about connecting with nature, of which our varying seasons are the hero and worthy of embracing.

During the summer months, you will have a solar fan and insect screen panel on the sides of the dome to allow cross breeze ventilation, this will assist with keeping the dome cooler.

For warmth in the winter months, you’ll be able to cosy up to your wood fire heater. The design of the dome will allow the heat to naturally circulate, keeping you warm and cosy within the dome.

The weather on the tablelands can be changeable so please check the weather forecast leading up to your stay. In winter don’t forget to throw in your favourite snuggly winter woollies, jacket, beanie and ugg boots for the nights spent around the firepit.

If you’re up for a bit of bushwalking pack a pair of sturdy footwear otherwise a comfy pair of walking shoes is okay for a stroll around the paddocks.
